The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade collaborates on implementation initiatives to facilitate the onboarding of OCOP products onto e-commerce platforms

In order to implement Plan No. 277/KH-UBND dated July 14, 2026, of the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee on supporting OCOP entities to list products on e-commerce platforms within the framework of the 100-day "Hanoi Reaches Out Campaign", the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade issued Official Dispatch No. 6750/SCT-QLTM dated July 23, 2026, requesting the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) to collaborate in implementing the program.

According to the Dispatch, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade requested VECOM to coordinate in disseminating the Plan to relevant enterprises and organizations; at the same time, inform e-commerce platforms to participate in supporting the onboarding of OCOP products, traditional craft village products, local specialties, agricultural goods, and potential products onto e-commerce platforms, meeting the minimum requirements of each platform.

Cooperation Content

As proposed by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, participating units will jointly execute the following main tasks:

  • Disseminate Plan No. 277/KH-UBND dated July 14, 2026, of the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee on supporting OCOP entities to list products on e-commerce platforms.

  • Coordinate with e-commerce platforms in facilitating product onboarding in accordance with the standards and conditions of each platform.

  • Assign contact focal points to work with the People's Committees of communes and wards to compile a list of eligible products; guide entities in standardizing information, documentation, and processes to onboard products onto e-commerce platforms.

  • Cooperate with the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade and local People's Committees during the execution of tasks outlined in the Plan.

VECOM respectfully announces to Association Members interested in participating in the Program to support product onboarding on e-commerce platforms to proactively send a written registration to the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade before July 28, 2026, for consolidation, connection with local People's Committees, and implementation according to the Plan.
