Held under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the forum attracted thousands of delegates, including representatives from government management agencies, organizations, technology companies, e-commerce platforms, domestic and international experts, as well as the business community interested in e-commerce, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
The Vietnam Online Business Forum is an annual event that gathers the Vietnamese e-commerce community. Over years of organization, the forum has created a significant impact within the business community, becoming an important gathering hub for stakeholders across the e-commerce ecosystem to meet, network, update trends, and share practical experiences.
VOBF 2026 was organized under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Additionally, the program received co-organization support from entities such as Vinalink, IMGroup, the Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association, VNNIC, Canva, Sapo, alongside many businesses operating in e-commerce, technology, and digital transformation. Speaking at the forum, Mr. Tran Trong Tuyen, President of the Vietnam E-commerce Association, stated that the robust development of artificial intelligence is creating profound changes across all sectors of the economy. Among these, Agentic AI—a generation of AI capable of autonomously planning, making decisions, and executing tasks—is considered the next evolutionary step for global e-commerce, opening up new growth opportunities for businesses in an increasingly fierce competitive landscape.
Under the theme "Agentic Commerce – Exponential Growth", VOBF 2026 centers on discussing prominent trends related to AI Agents, e-commerce development strategies in the AI era, new regulatory policies, and AI applications in marketing, sales, business operations, logistics, fintech, and cross-border e-commerce.
At the forum, numerous experts and businesses shared research, practical implementation models, and case studies on applying AI to business operations. Key highlights included AI Agents in marketing and e-commerce, Context Engineering, AI applications in content creation, operational optimization, data governance, the development of smart sales platforms, and building AI-driven enterprises.

One of the topics receiving immense interest from the business community was the in-depth panel discussions featuring representatives from government management agencies, technology experts, and corporate leaders. These discussion sessions brought diverse perspectives on opportunities, challenges, as well as new requirements for businesses in the process of applying AI to e-commerce activities.
