VECOM Cooperates with Google to Organize the VECOM AI Trainer Training

The hybrid (in-person and online) training program themed "Applying AI Tools to Drive Breakthrough Growth" was successfully held from July 10, 2026, to July 11, 2026. This meaningful event was organized by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) in collaboration with Google, alongside the companionship of member units and partners including HAWA, Haravan, HG Invest, FTC Media, iViet, and IM Group.

This marks the kickoff activity in a series of initiatives under the Gemini Academy for SMBs program, aiming to equip small and medium-sized businesses with toap-tier practical skills through the Gemini AI assistant. Following these AI trainer training classes, VECOM will collaborate with partners to scale up and roll out training activities to member businesses as well as the wider SMB community in Vietnam. In the immediate phase of 2026, the program will focus on supporting businesses in the tourism, fashion, and wood industries, before expanding to regional enterprises with OCOP (One Commune One Product) products.

The first training day (July 10) took place in a hybrid format (combining in-person and online), gathering a large number of trainers who participated in lively interactions.

Immediately after the opening remarks, the class moved on to the intensive training topics. That afternoon, trainer Dang Thanh Minh from Google personally led the class, sharing breakthrough mindsets on how to expand smart business ideas and build memorable brands with Gemini. The detailed, practical guidance from the expert helped the trainees quickly absorb the most effective methods of delivering technology knowledge.

Moving on to July 11, 2026, the program accelerated intensively in an entirely online format, clearly divided into morning and afternoon sessions to deliver a massive amount of knowledge in the most effective way. The morning session opened with an introduction to the class by a VECOM representative, after which the Google trainer immediately led the trainees into an engaging lesson on social media content creation with Gemini. The online classroom atmosphere continued to heat up with a lecture on writing effective sales scripts and enhancing customer experience with Gemini. The morning session content wrapped up with a highly important management topic—recruitment and human resource management with Gemini, helping managers learn how to apply AI for streamlined resume screening. At the end of the morning session, trainees were also given Q&A time to resolve their questions.

The afternoon of the same day continued to witness the dedicated learning spirit of the trainees with highly practical topics. Google trainer Vu Thai Thao kicked off the afternoon session with a guide on automating office tasks and streamlined project management with Gemini, helping to free staff from manual labor. Immediately after, the challenge of tight business budgets found its solution through the topic of optimal financial and cost management with Gemini. The final topic, which generated great excitement among trainees, was a guide on selling more effectively on e-commerce platforms with Gemini, supporting product SEO optimization and competitor research.

Following the conclusion of the training series, the Organizing Committee recorded and collected a wealth of positive feedback and reviews from the trainee community. The vast majority of opinions expressed absolute satisfaction with the professional quality of the Google trainers, as well as the well-organized and thoughtful coordination from VECOM. Many businesses affirmed that the technology solutions and Gemini application mindsets shared during the program are the golden key to help them solve the challenge of cost optimization, improve staff productivity, and confidently drive strong revenue breakthroughs in the coming period.
