[Da Nang, January 10, 2020] With the agreement of the Standing Board, the Vietnam E-Commerce Association has organized the 6th Executive Board Meeting for the IIIth term in Da Nang. This is an annual event held annually to summarize, evaluate the achieved results and develop and provide additional comments to complete the Work Plan for 2020. Attend the conference have the Executive Committee members term IIIth; The close members have made a lot of contribution and attachment to the development of the Association over the past time. Especially, at the Conference, there were representatives of Departments of Industry and Trade such as Da Nang and Quang Nam.
Vietnam Online Business Forum 2019 (VOBF 2019) is nationwide organized event. gathering the local and international e-commerce community. In 2018, the event was successful due to the contributions of domestic and foreign businesses. To continue that success, Vietnam E-Commerce Association will organize, in collaboration with the Vietnam eCommerce and Digital Economy Agency, the VOBF 2019 in three different cities: Da Nang (15/03), Hanoi (27/03), Ho Chi Minh City (29/03)-with hot topics which directly impact on businesses, such as competition, legal, transformation of industry 4.0… to attract the attention of the community.

Recognizing the attention of Vietnam market to the cross-border e-commerce trend, Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) has cooperated with Amazon Global Selling to organize a formal event on selling on Amazon, namely “Selling Globally on Amazon”. The event will be held in two biggest e-commerce cities, Hanoi on Sep 25th, 2018 and HCMC on Sep 27th, 2018.
On April 23rd 2018, Blockchain Association was founded under direction of Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM). VECOM expects that in the first 3-year term 2018-2020 Blockchain Association would actively contribute to applying blockchain in different business sectors.
Vietnam Online Tourism Forum (VOTF), held the first time in 2017 by Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), drew an enormous attention among the community. As the consequence, VECOM in cooperation with Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) organized VOTF 2018 in Hanoi, March 29th 2018. This is one of the most outstanding events in Vietnam International Travel Mart 2018 (VITM).
On 16/12/2016 at the 3rd Executive Board meeting of the 3rd term, Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) has approved the 2017 work plan. At this 3rd conference, Mr. Tran Van Trong – Member of the Executive Board, Chief of the Office reported activities in 2016 undertaken by the Association.
