On 11/7/2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held a "Conference on cooperation in training and human resource development in agriculture and rural areas" with the participation of more than 300 delegates representing ministries, sectors, enterprises, institutions of higher education and vocational education in the agricultural sector. Minister Le Minh Hoan and Deputy Minister Tran Thanh Nam co-chaired the conference.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Minister Le Minh Hoan affirmed: "Training and developing human resources for the goal of industrialization and modernization of the agricultural sector and rural development, towards ecological agriculture, modern rural areas, civilized farmers as well as an important premise to improve production, labor productivity, competitiveness and ensure sustainable development of the industry, is both an inevitable trend and brings long-term value to universities and training institutions and agribusinesses. Therefore, through this conference, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development hopes that there will be many cooperation agreements between businesses, organizations and training institutions inside and outside the Ministry in various forms such as: Connecting labor recruitment needs between enterprises and training institutions, especially high-quality agricultural human resources; Supporting and encouraging students to register for agricultural majors, especially those that are difficult to enroll and socialize; Improving the quality of training and research, commercialize scientific and technological products; Promoting communication to raise society's awareness of learning opportunities, job opportunities, and start-up opportunities in the agricultural sector."
