On the afternoon of December 19, 2025, the Digital Business Student Competition 2025, organized by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) and the Network of E-commerce Education Institutions (VecomNet), officially reached its final round. The Grand Finale Gala, held at the National Economics University, attracted strong interest from numerous government agencies, organizations, e-commerce enterprises, higher education institutions, and a large number of students from across the country.

With the objectives of fostering a collaborative environment among organizations, educational institutions, and businesses to share knowledge, skills, and training experience; developing and improving high-quality training programs closely aligned with the practical needs of the e-commerce and digital economy sectors; and creating learning and hands-on opportunities for students through courses, projects, internships, and real-world activities.

In 2025, the Digital Business Student Competition (DBC) featured three main competition categories: Online Sales, Digital Marketing, and Digital Business Ideas, with the integration of green e-commerce and sustainable business models across all categories. This approach aimed to strongly promote the message of sustainable e-commerce development in association with environmental protection. The competition attracted significant interest from students majoring in e-commerce and related fields, with a total of 546 teams registering from 85 universities nationwide.

DBC aims to encourage creativity and digital business thinking among students, providing them with opportunities to demonstrate their ability to develop business plans and implement digital business activities in real-world contexts. At the same time, the competition seeks to build an environment that balances competition and collaboration, promotes the application of technology in business, and advances digital business practices aligned with the sustainable development of society and the economy.

Following the Preliminary Round and the Qualifying Round, the Judging Panel selected the top 24 teams across the three competition categories to advance to the Semi-finals. The Semi-final Round was conducted with live evaluations at two locations: Hanoi (University of Transport and Communications) and Ho Chi Minh City (University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City), to determine the First, Second, and Third Prize winners in each category. The Top 9 outstanding teams of the entire competition (First, Second, and Third Prize winners from each category) then competed for the highest titles of the Digital Business Student Competition 2025: Champion, First Runner-up, and Second Runner-up.

It can be affirmed that DBC 2025 is the largest-scale competition with the strongest influence within the community of e-commerce and digital economy students nationwide. The Vietnam E-commerce Association and the Network of E-commerce Education Institutions hope to continue receiving guidance and support from ministries, government agencies, and educational institutions across the country in the coming years, so that the competition can further develop into a meaningful platform where students passionate about learning can challenge themselves, innovate, and make breakthroughs on their academic journey.
