Following the implementation of Decision No. 645/QD-TTg dated May 15, 2020 by the Prime Minister approving the Overall Plan for National E-Commerce Development for the period 2021-2025, many universities across the country have actively implemented e-commerce training activities. VECOMNET was also established and launched in early September 2022.
According to the 2022 E-commerce Training Report, many universities have proposed organizing a nationwide competition for students majoring in e-commerce and related fields. Through the competition, students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge to practical digital business, enhance teamwork skills, and promote creative entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2022, the Digital Business Contest (DBC) was organized for the first time by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) in collaboration with the VECOMNET. It made a significant impact on the student and business community nationwide.
Continuing the success of previous DBCs, on August 28, 2024, VECOM, in collaboration with VECOMNET and the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), will organize the Launch Ceremony of the 2024 Digital Business Contest. The aim is to encourage student activities and create an attractive environment for students majoring in e-commerce and related fields to showcase their talents, enhance teamwork skills and creative entrepreneurial spirit, and connect their acquired knowledge with dynamic business practices and new business technologies and solutions.
