Unitour 2024 continued its impactful journey, making successful stops in Central Vietnam at Hue  of Economics on October 15th and Vietnamese - Korean College of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), Da Nang University on October 16th. With over 350 enthusiastic students participating at each university, the events pulsated with excitement and engagement.

Unitour, an integral event within the Digital Business Contest 2024, aims to bridge the gap between students and businesses, providing valuable learning opportunities in entrepreneurship and business development. These events typically feature a range of activities, including insightful seminars, recruitment fairs teeming with opportunities, skill-enhancing workshops, and dynamic networking sessions with accomplished entrepreneurs. In 2023, E-Unitour, held for the first time across 15 universities within the E-commerce Training Network, engaged over 10,000 students, faculty members, and business partners. Building upon this success, Unitour 2024 expands its reach to encompass nearly 23 universities under the theme "Catch the Trend - Lead the Future." This year's events go beyond simply connecting students with businesses; they encourage young minds to embrace emerging trends in the ever-evolving digital business landscape. With diverse activities, Unitour 2024 promises an enriching and inspiring experience, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills to confidently shape their futures.

The resounding success of Unitour at both universities underscores the program's value, unlocking numerous opportunities for students as they embark on their career exploration and development journeys. These experiences will undoubtedly serve as stepping stones to a brighter future. Co-organized by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) and Hue University of Economics, the UNITOUR program received a warm welcome.

This edition of Unitour attracted a distinguished lineup of organizations such as VNNIC, BSH, Ecomdy Media, and The Cay, creating a dynamic and energetic atmosphere buzzing with interaction. The presence of these leading brands brought a wealth of knowledge and created invaluable networking opportunities between students and seasoned industry experts. Interactive activities and engaging discussions flourished, encouraging participation and the sharing of practical experiences, equipping students with essential tools for their future careers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, a representative from the Vietnam Internet Center (VNNIC), under the Ministry of Information and Communications, delivered a captivating presentation on "TIPS to Own an Impressive Personal Brand." He emphasized the importance of defining one's core values, effectively leveraging social media for self-promotion, building a strong network, and continuously updating one's knowledge. His insights provided students with a clearer understanding of building a strong personal brand, equipping them with essential tools to thrive in the competitive job market. The presentation received overwhelmingly positive feedback, encouraging students to apply the shared tips in real-life scenarios.

In her insightful presentation on "Secrets to Effectively Managing Student Time," Ms. Tran Thi Anh Nguyet, Marketing Director of Saigon - Hanoi Insurance Corporation (BSH), shared invaluable tips to help students optimize their time management skills. She emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, prioritizing academic pursuits, honing essential skills, and engaging in enriching extracurricular activities. Through practical and easy-to-apply methods, Ms. Nguyet encouraged students to enhance not only their academic performance but also their overall personal development.

The presentation by Miss Ao Dai Runner-up Giang Thanh, Trainer of TheCây Education Project and Trainer/Coach/Judge of the Social Business Creation (SBC) program (HEC Montreal Canada), highlighted the position of students in the current Vietnamese labor market. In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, students face numerous challenges, such as rapid technological advancements and increasing skill demands. This requires them to equip themselves with knowledge, soft skills, and adaptability to meet market needs.

Ms. Hoang Kim Duyen, Business Development Specialist at Ecomdy Media, pointed out that Gen Z is exploring many job opportunities on TikTok. The platform is not only an entertainment space but also a place for young people to build personal brands and develop their careers. They can earn money by creating content, collaborating with brands, and participating in affiliate marketing programs. TikTok provides a creative environment, making it easier for Gen Z to access new job opportunities and develop skills in the digital media field.

The event featured lively panel discussions, providing a dynamic platform for students and businesses to connect, exchange ideas, share valuable experiences, and explore emerging trends shaping the business world. Reputable speakers from leading companies and industry experts gathered to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing young people in today's digital economy. Topics covered included the strategic importance of omnichannel marketing, building a strong personal brand, and the innovative application of technology in business. Real-life stories and invaluable lessons from young KOLs and KOCs served to inspire students, encouraging them to embrace creativity and take a proactive approach to their career development. The panel discussions not only broadened students' knowledge but also fostered a valuable networking space where they could confidently ask questions and receive insightful feedback from seasoned professionals.
