Hanoi, August 25, 2025 – The Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) and the Vietnam Women’s Academy officially signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen collaboration in training, research, and the development of high-quality human resources in the fields of e-commerce and digital businaess.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Trần Quang Tiến – Director of the Vietnam Women’s Academy – emphasized:
"One of the key tasks of the Vietnam Women’s Academy is to train high-quality human resources capable of adapting to the rapid changes in the labor market. To fulfill this mission, the Academy cannot rely solely on academic knowledge but needs the companionship and support of businesses – the ‘practical teachers’ in the production and business environment."
Within the framework of the ceremony, Mr. Bùi Trung Kiên – Vice President of VECOM – shared:
“VECOM always values cooperation with educational institutions to build a bridge between theory and practice, especially in the field of e-commerce – an industry that is rapidly growing and requires human resources with knowledge of technology, markets, and social responsibility. The collaboration between VECOM and the Vietnam Women’s Academy will create many opportunities for students to gain exposure to real business practices, enhance their professional skills, and at the same time spread the values of sustainable development in digital business.”
Under the cooperation agreement, the two parties will jointly implement activities such as:

Integrating e-commerce knowledge and skills into the Academy’s training programs.

Creating opportunities for students to participate in internships and real projects with VECOM member enterprises.

Carrying out research, seminars, and academic programs linked to the practical development of e-commerce in Vietnam.

Supporting students in competitions, innovation activities, startups, and green e-commerce initiatives.
This signing event marks an important step in strengthening the connection between the Vietnam Women’s Academy and the e-commerce business community, contributing to the training of a new generation of young professionals who not only possess expertise but also creativity and adaptability to the development of the digital economy.
The ceremony was attended by numerous businesses from the fields of technology, e-commerce, media, logistics, and hospitality services, creating opportunitiesf for students to gain practical exposure while expanding the network of cooperation between the Academy and enterprises.
