On October 9, 2015, in Thai Nguyen, The Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM) and its members, together with the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) – Thai Nguyen University signed an Agreement on Cooperation in Training and Supply of E-Commerce Human Resources.
This is an important event, marking a new direction in the university's e-commerce formal training, so it has been interested by the leaders of the parties. Participating in the event, on the side of VECOM, there were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung – Vice Chairman and General Secretary, Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Ky Minh – Deputy Director of E-commerce Development Center – Department of E-commerce and IT – Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mr. Tran Trong Tuyen – Director of DKT Technology Joint Stock Company. On the side of university of ICT, there is a TS. Nguyen Van Tao – Principal and the entire school's board of directors and more than 500 students.

The objective of cooperation between the parties is to strengthen the close relationship to coordinate the training and supply of human resources that are both highly professional and have solid practical knowledge to meet the increasing requirements of human resources for the country. This human resource will support local businesses to apply e-commerce, bring practical effects to businesses, contributing to improving the competitiveness of businesses in the context of international economic integration.
According to the Agreement, THE UNIVERSITY will train students in the main course of bachelor's degree in the direction of sticking to the current e-commerce activities; invite some experienced vecom experts and technicians to participate in the training process; meeting and exchanging experiences between VECOM and students and teachers of the university. VECOM will also receive and create conditions for students of the university to come to practice, practice and do graduation theory courses at members and businesses doing e-commerce business; to send experienced experts and engineers to participate in the school's training program; scholarships or grants for highly feasible scientific research programs.
Attending the signing ceremony, vecom members – DKT Joint Stock Company and E-commerce development center – Department of E-commerce and IT – Ministry of Industry and Trade also signed a cooperation agreement in supporting training and receiving students to the university's trainees.
